The Brief
Our clients sought a family house that not only meets but exceeds the diverse requirements of modern living. A key feature in the design is integrating views of the pool, enhancing the home’s connection with outdoor leisure spaces.
Design Highlights
Space Optimization: The design challenge was to maximize space on a typical subdivision lot with a 12.5-meter frontage. Our solution was a 350 sqm house that efficiently incorporates a range of family-oriented spaces.
Double-Height Family Space: The inclusion of a double-height family area adds a sense of grandeur and spaciousness. This feature also enhances the view of the pool at the rear, creating a visually stunning backdrop for the living and entertaining areas.
Functional Layout: The ground floor houses the kitchen, dining area, theatre, guest bedroom, and an attached garage. The thoughtful layout ensures each space is practical yet inviting.
Upper Floor Dynamics: The upper floor is dedicated to bedrooms and a rumpus area overlooking the family room below. This design element fosters a sense of connectivity within the home while providing private retreats for relaxation and play.
Pool Views: Central to the design is the integration of the pool with the living spaces. The placement and orientation of the house ensure that the pool is a focal point, visible from key areas, enhancing the home’s ambiance and appeal.
